Burglaries on the Rise

Please be advised that MPD has contacted Borderstan Neighbors to inform us that while there were no robberies in Borderstan over the weekend, there were four burglaries. MPD is aware of the situation and is dedicating additional resources to combat this new spike in crime.

The best thing you can do as a Borderstanian and as a neighbor is to look out for one another.  If you see suspicious activity, report it.  If you’re going out of town for the holidays, tell your neighbor to keep an eye on your home.  If you don’t know your neighbor yet, introduce yourself.

We’re stronger as a community, working together to combat crime.  And never hesitate to call 911.  Also, take time to stop the police if you see them, thank them for their work, and establish a dialogue.  It will pay dividends in the long run.
