Attention, residents of Police Service Area (PSA) 208, which is primarily the Dupont Circle neighborhood (including West Borderstan)… this message is from Lt. Scott Dignan, who has returned to lead PSA 208:

Starting September 2009, PSA 208’s leadership team invites you to attend the first Monthly Walk with Your PSA 208 Lieutenant. The purpose of this monthly walk is to extend the already scheduled PSA 208 Monthly Meetings out to the community and citizens, by affording you and the leadership an opportunity to walk through your neighborhoods while discussing community concerns.

Prior to starting the walk, the PSA leadership will conduct an outdoor roll call (weather permitting). During the outdoor roll call, citizens will be able to meet their PSA 208 officers and supervisors as well as get answers to your questions. As this is a monthly outreach event, locations will vary throughout PSA 208 depending on community issues.

Information concerning the monthly walk will be posted in advance via the [2nd District MPD] Yahoo list serv, Borderstan, and the PSA 208 Neighborhood Network (block captains).

If you’re interested in arranging a date in your community or you have questions, please contact Lt. Scott Dignan.
