Dupont – Logan – U Street

Borderstan is the crossroads of the Dupont Circle, Logan Circle and U Street neighborhoods.

  1. I have a small warehouse at 917 V ST that is available for lease. Would be cool space for a art gallery, art studio, yoga studio, retail, etc. Trying to keep it for local, small businesses. Let me know if you’d like any more information.
The guy who used to run a roofing business out of the property is retiring. Thanks.

  3. Anyone have any information about the three cars broken into between 8PM and 10PM on Saturday night (Oct 17) on Swann Street between 15th and 16th. The brazeness of vandalizing 3 cars on one street is outrageous and needs to be stopped!!!

  4. Hi,

I don’t mean to leave a comment but rather contact the write of Borderstan, but I can’t find an email contact to use.

I’m writing to ask if you would be willing to add my blog to your blogroll and/or add a short write up about my project on your blog.

I live in the U Street area and have been a DC resident for almost 15 years, which means I’ve suffered the slings and arrows of outrageous dating misfortune for ages. I recently started a blog called 50 Dates chronicling my experiment to find love within six degrees of separation. I’ve asked my friends to find me 50 straight and single men to have a date with by June 2010. I invite you to check it out. I hope it provides a laugh or two. I’d be happy to talk with you further about it or answer any questions you might have.

I’m working on making the site more aesthetically pleasing. At the moment it’s pretty simple. Here’s the link:

  5. OK – I must say that IMHO this is an incredible waste of money AND natural resources. There was NOTHING wrong with the existing sidwewalks on Corcoran St., with the exception of a few spots where trees had buckled the concrete. The constant digging in such close proximity to 100 year -plus aged structures threatens the integrity of the brick and mortar contruction and the foundations. I GUARANTEE property owners will find cracks in mortar and structural damage to their property when this insanity is over. What an unbelievable waste of money.
